Academy Advantages

George Bryan Golf Academy for Juniors is the first complete golf program for young people in the Midlands of South Carolina. All phases of the game are presented through interesting and fun lesson plans. The Academy will benefit the student who wants to learn to play golf, as well as the one who wants to play on his/her high school golf team, and it is a must for the highly competitive golfer seeking a college scholarship.

A curriculum for each skill level has been developed including full-swing fundamentals, rules and etiquette, course management, strategy and the short game.

Emphasis is placed on the development of a strong mental approach to playing golf. Dr. Morris Pickens, Ph.D., Sports Psychology, conducts workshops regularly for the Academy students.

State-of-the-art digital stop video and Swing Solutions computer systems are used extensively to ensure the students have every advantage.

The Academy has the first complete club fitting system for juniors in the Midlands. Students will be fitted to ensure their equipment is correct for them. Clubs will be provided for students who need them.

Instructors are professionals trained by George Bryan.
